Öva Farm—from the Swedish word öva, meaning “to practice”—is a 14-acre sanctuary in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, created as a space to slow down and reconnect. Among chickens, a seasonal garden, and winding meadow paths, the farm invites us to practice living with the earth, calming our nervous systems, and grounding ourselves in the present.
It’s a place to gather for intimate events, capture meaningful photographs, and create lasting memories—while also holding space for rest, reflection, and joy. At Öva Farm, we honor the practice of presence and the beauty of simple living.
